Studio Etiquette
-
To make the most of your studio sessions, we recommend wearing comfy, stretch-friendly clothing. Please steer clear of outfits with zips on the back or sides to keep our equipment safe. Don't forget clean, fresh socks or grip socks for extra stability during exercises on the apparatus.
-
We know Chichester can be buzzing, especially during busy hours. To make your journey stress-free, we kindly suggest giving yourself plenty of time to get to class. If you happen to arrive a tad late, please hold off on entering until you see the class members moving, then enter quietly. Our aim is to create a peaceful and uninterrupted space for everyone, often starting sessions with a moment of calm. Your consideration for others' experiences means the world to us!
-
If you are feeling severely unwell, please cancel your appointment or inform us as soon as you can.
If you are experiencing mild illness such as a cold, Pilates can be beneficial in aiding recovery. You are still welcome to come to the studio, but out of consideration for others, you may prefer to attend online, especially if you have a cough as the mute function allows you to cough without worrying about disturbing others.
-
For hygiene purposes, we kindly ask that clean socks must be worn at all times while in the studio. Grip socks are essential for the apparatus to provide proper grip on the equipment with your feet. Grip socks are optional in the matwork studio, but clean socks must still be worn. If you ever forget to bring a pair, you can purchase more from us.
